Jacek Koman

Jacek Koman is the kind of character actor I instinctively respect. Trained at the famed Lodz Film School in Poland before building a career far from home in Australia, he brings a real intensity to English-language screens. Many will know him only as the menacing tango singer in Moulin Rouge, a single scene that lingers far longer than its runtime. Actor, singer, musician, equally at home on stage and film, he has the versatility that sustains a long working life rather than a brief blaze of fame. I admire performers who quietly elevate every project they touch.
