My Take

Łukasz Skorupski earns my respect precisely because goalkeeping is the loneliest, least-forgiving job on the pitch, and he's done it with quiet consistency. Out of the Silesian mining town of Zabrze, he's guarded the net for Serie A's Bologna and Poland's national team, a level you don't reach without genuine nerve. Keepers see everything yet shoulder the blame for everyone's mistakes, which makes longevity in Italy real proof of quality.
