My Take
Jacob Artist strikes me as a performer whose musical-theater training gave him an unusually complete toolkit, acting, singing, and dancing all at a high level. Breaking out as Jake Puckerman on Glee put him in front of a huge audience young, and his turn on Quantico showed he could pivot to darker, dramatic territory. I'm curious about how he balances that triple-threat versatility, because performers with this much range sometimes struggle to be pinned to a single signature role. From Buffalo to Hollywood, his trajectory feels like one still being written, and I think his most defining work may well be ahead of him.
