My Take

Jacob Zachar is one of those actors I quietly root for. As Rusty Cartwright on Greek, he gave the show its earnest, slightly awkward heart, and that kind of grounded, sympathetic presence is harder to pull off than it looks. The fact that he also works as a voice actor tells me he trusts his instrument and isn't chasing flash. Coming out of Chicago, there's a no-nonsense Midwestern steadiness to his work that I find genuinely appealing. He's the type who serves the story rather than the spotlight, and in an era of manufactured fame, I respect performers who simply show up and do the work.
