My Take

Jakob Ahlmann's story appeals to the part of me that values loyalty over spectacle. A left-back from Aalborg who built his career at AaB and won three caps for Denmark, he never became a global star, but he stayed rooted to his hometown club and, after retiring, returned to it as a scout. I find that kind of continuity quietly admirable.
