Jamie Kennedy

For me, Jamie Kennedy will always be Randy Meeks, the movie-geek who narrated the rules of horror from inside a horror film. That meta wink defined a generation of slasher comedy, and Kennedy delivered it with real warmth. What I find most honest about his career is the spread: he holds both a Blockbuster Entertainment Award and a Stinkers Bad Movie Award. To me that range is a badge, not a blemish. A comedian who swings hard will whiff sometimes, and I respect performers willing to risk the miss. Kennedy clearly chose to keep swinging, and I quietly admire that.
