My Take
Jane Krakowski is a performer I treasure for her sheer versatility. Raised in Parsippany, New Jersey, and trained at Rutgers, she has the rare ability to be hilarious and technically dazzling at once. Her vain, lovable Jenna Maroney on 30 Rock earned her multiple Emmy nominations, yet she's equally a genuine stage force, holding both a Tony and an Olivier Award for her musical work. Actors who can make you laugh while quietly showcasing real craft are my favorite kind, and she is exactly that.
