My Take
Moloney is the kind of actor I quietly admire most: never the loudest name on the call sheet, yet impossible to forget. Her Donna Moss on The West Wing turned a supporting role into a fan favorite, and those back-to-back SAG ensemble wins tell me she understands acting as a team sport, not a star vehicle. I love that she came up through stage, television and film alike, then reinvented herself with a haunting turn in The Leftovers. To me she represents a craft-first career: durable, intelligent, and far more influential than her relatively low profile would suggest.
