My Take
For my generation, Jason Griffith simply is the voice of Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog, having defined both from 2005 to 2010. Voice acting is a strangely selfless craft: you pour your soul into a character whose face will never be yours, yet you shape the heroes etched into millions of childhood memories. That is no small thing. Giving life to an icon like Sonic, plus roles in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, marks him as one of those unseen heroes behind the screen. I have deep admiration for performers content to let the character take the spotlight.
