My Take

I keep running into Jesse Moss in exactly the kind of genre fare I have a soft spot for. A Vancouver kid who turned up in Ginger Snaps, Final Destination 3, and Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, he's the sort of reliable Canadian working actor whose face I recognize long before I recall the name. The Whistler run, which earned him a Leo Award out of six nominations, tells me he was building something steady away from the spotlight. He's not a headliner, and that's fine by me. I find these dependable mid-card players are often the glue holding horror and teen drama together, and I always appreciate that.

He is perhaps best known for his roles on the teen drama series Whistler (2006–2008), as well as in the horror films Ginger Snaps (2000), Final Destination 3 (2006), The Uninvited (2009), and Tucker & Dale vs. Evil (2010).
