My Take
Jessica Hynes is exactly the sort of talent I champion. She does not merely act funny, she writes too, helping create and pen Spaced before delivering memorable turns in Twenty Twelve, W1A and The Royle Family. Winning the BAFTA for Best Female Comedy Performance twice is no fluke, it is the mark of someone with both comic instinct and craft.
