Jessica Parker Kennedy

Jessica Parker Kennedy is a chameleon, and that's what keeps me watching. The scheming, magnetic Max on Black Sails and the bright, earnest Nora West-Allen on The Flash feel like the work of two different actors, which speaks to genuine range. Coming out of Calgary, she's built a steady, eclectic resume across genre television without ever coasting on one persona. She may not be a blockbuster headliner, but she leaves a lingering impression in everything she does, modulating warmth and danger with real control. I have a soft spot for performers who quietly raise the level of an ensemble, and Kennedy is firmly in that camp.
