My Take
Joe Jonas interests me as a case study in surviving teen stardom with both sanity and career intact. Plenty of performers who blow up that young either burn out or become nostalgia acts; Jonas instead kept evolving as a singer, a songwriter, and an actor, and weathered the breakup and reunion of a band built on the riskiest foundation of all, family. That takes a level of resilience his cheerful pop image tends to hide. I also respect that he never pretended to be anything other than an entertainer; there is real professionalism in committing fully to joy. Of the three brothers, he strikes me as the one with the sharpest instinct for reinvention.
