John Bennett Perry

For me, John Bennett Perry is a study in quiet craft. Most people meet his name through his son, Matthew Perry, but I find the father just as interesting: an actor, singer and model out of Williamstown, Massachusetts who built a steady working career rather than a flashy one. I respect that kind of durable, character-actor presence far more than fleeting stardom. There is something admirable about a performer who can carry music and acting both, and who raised a son the whole world adored. To me he represents the unglamorous backbone of the entertainment trade, and that earns my genuine regard.
