John Larroquette is my idea of a supporting-role master. Winning four consecutive Emmys for Night Court in the 1980s is almost absurd consistency, the kind of feat you only manage when you can steal a scene without ever overplaying it. A near-fifty-year career at the front of the line takes more than talent; it takes a presence people simply want around. I love that burnished, unhurried craft.
