My Take

For me, Josh Holloway will always be Sawyer from Lost, and that's no small thing. Plenty of model-turned-actors coast on looks, but Holloway found something prickly and wounded underneath the swagger, and he kept finding it in Colony and Yellowstone too. What I admire most is how he aged into his roles rather than against them, trading boyish charm for a weathered, lived-in gravity. A St. Jose kid from the University of Georgia who built a durable second and third act in TV, he's proof that staying power beats flash. I'm rooting for his ongoing reinvention.
