Junko Abe

I have a soft spot for the actor-model who clearly could have coasted on brains and didn't, and Junko Abe reads exactly like that to me. Osaka kid, Kitano High, then Keio University, that's a resume that screams safe corporate path, and instead she went into acting and modeling where there's no guarantee of anything. I respect the nerve of that. I picture her as the type who builds a character with her head, digging into a role patiently instead of mugging for the camera. Sticking with Amuse and just steadily putting in the work also earns my trust. She feels like someone worth keeping an eye on for the long haul.
