Kaitlan Collins

Kaitlan Collins represents the kind of journalist I find most interesting: one whose path defies easy political sorting. From Prattville, Alabama, through the Daily Caller, to CNN's chief White House correspondent and a prime-time anchor chair before thirty-two, that trajectory takes more than ambition; it takes nerve. What I respect is her questioning style: persistent, unrattled, never performative outrage, just the follow-up nobody else asks. Having worked inside conservative media before mainstream cable, she understands audiences that distrust each other, which I suspect makes her harder to dismiss from either side. Her career is still in its first act, and I expect the second to matter even more.
