Kang Hye-won

What draws me to Kang Hye-won is the quiet resilience behind the glossy idol surface. Surviving a brutal survival show like Produce 48 to debut in Iz*One demands a steadiness most people never have to summon at twenty. After the group disbanded, she didn't coast on nostalgia; she kept widening her range across singing and acting, which tells me she's in this for craft, not just fame. I tend to root for performers who choose patient, durable careers over flashy peaks, and she strikes me as exactly that kind of artist. I'm curious to watch where her sincerity takes her next.
