My Take

Kartik Aaryan is one of the more interesting self-made stories in recent Hindi cinema. He started without industry connections, studying engineering before that monologue-driven debut in Pyaar Ka Punchnama announced him, and he climbed steadily into Forbes India's Celebrity 100 and a Filmfare Award. What I respect is the patience of his rise, comedy and romance first, then gradually heavier material. He could coast on charm, and sometimes the films lean on it too hard, but the ambition underneath is real. I see an outsider who treated access as something to be earned rather than inherited, and that scrappiness is what makes me root for him.
