Kate Higgins

Kate Higgins is one of those artists you have absolutely heard without knowing her name. Sakura in Naruto, Tails in Sonic, Sailor Mercury, Purah in Tears of the Kingdom: a single voice spinning up dozens of distinct lives. What I admire most is that she is also a jazz pianist and singer, and I am convinced that musical training is exactly why her vocal performances carry such tonal nuance. Voice acting rarely gets the credit it deserves, but performers like her quietly shape how a whole generation of kids experiences their favorite characters. She earns my deep respect.
