Kim Yoon-hye

Kim Yoon-hye is one of those quietly dependable actresses who spent years earning her stripes before finally landing roles worthy of her range. She got her start modeling — Vogue Girl Korea before she was even twenty — then pivoted to acting and proved herself in smaller films, picking up a Best New Actress win at the Golden Cinema Festival for the atmospheric thriller Steel Cold Winter in 2014. After that it was a steady grind through dramas and supporting parts until Vincenzo and 18 Again brought her to a much wider audience. Then in 2024 she played Kang In-ah in Goodbye Earth, and honestly that kind of high-concept role suits her perfectly. She's got this quiet intensity that makes every scene feel grounded, and I think her best work is still ahead of her.
