My Take
Himuro shaped the posture of Japanese rock as much as its sound. Boowy burned for seven years and broke up at full speed. Most careers end there. His grew: sixteen million records solo. What gets me is how little apology is in it, a man from Takasaki singing Kiss Me straight, and half the country trying to stand the way he stood.
