Laurence Fox

Laurence Fox is one of those genuinely complicated figures I find hard to look away from. As James Hathaway in Lewis, he was magnetic — a brooding, classically-trained sergeant with hidden depths, and honestly the most interesting thing about that show by the end. RADA-trained and from the famous Fox acting dynasty, the guy clearly has real craft. But then he pivoted hard into political activism, founding the Reclaim Party and becoming a fixture in culture-war debates, which overshadowed pretty much everything else he'd built. Love him or can't stand him, he's not boring — he's a musician on the side, impossibly opinionated on social media, and seems genuinely uninterested in playing it safe. Whether that's brave or exhausting probably depends on where you're standing.
