Lee Ho-jung

I'll be honest — Lee Ho-jung wasn't on my radar until I caught a few clips from Song of the Bandits, and something about her screen presence just made me stop scrolling. Born in 1997, she started as a model, which you can feel in the way she carries herself on camera — there's a physical confidence there that a lot of young actors are still figuring out. What impresses me most is the range she's shown across very different projects: the buddy-cop action of Midnight Runners, the wartime drama of The Battle of Jangsari, and then the Netflix-era prestige of Song of the Bandits. She was already a top model in her teens, working for magazines like Vogue and Elle, and that poise somehow makes her performances feel more alive. I think she's quietly one of the more interesting young talents to watch out of South Korea right now.
