My Take
Lew Temple is the kind of character actor I always recognize before I can name. To me he is one of those reliable faces that makes a scene feel grounded. I know him best as Axel in the third season of The Walking Dead, but his work in Domino and Waitress shows real range across tones. What I find unusual and a little charming is the baseball background, including time as a scout, before acting took over. There is something fitting about a Texan with that kind of grit playing the lived-in, slightly weathered characters he does so well. He is a working actor in the best sense, and I respect that craft.
