Logan Mader

Logan Mader interests me less as a guitarist and more as a craftsman of sound. His Machine Head days produced a debut that defined a label's history, but what I admire is his pivot from front-line player to producer and band-builder with Once Human. That arc tells me he cares about how a record is engineered, not just how fast he can shred. There's a quiet maturity in choosing to shape other people's music after tasting the spotlight yourself. I find that kind of behind-the-scenes dedication far more compelling than chasing personal glory, and it earns my respect.
