Louis Cancelmi

Louis Cancelmi is the sort of actor I find quietly compelling. A Yale-trained performer who moves between stage and screen, he earned a place in Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon, which alone signals serious discernment about his craft. He is the type who lands an impression through the role before you ever learn his name, the kind of dependable jewel every production needs. Without flashy headlines, his stage-honed foundation keeps his work grounded and never showy. He even maintains his own site, suggesting real care for his profession. I am drawn to performers who are simply, reliably good.
