Luke Macfarlane

Luke Macfarlane has quietly built one of the more interesting careers in his lane. The Ontario-born actor earned early notice as Scotty on Brothers & Sisters, then showed a completely different gear as a gun-toting agent in the sci-fi series Killjoys, and became a reliable romantic lead in Hallmark movies. What moved me was his open, leading turn in Bros in 2022, a comedy that let him be fully himself on his own terms. He moves easily between stage, film, and television, and beneath that wholesome, easygoing screen presence I sense a real backbone. He is someone I want to keep following.
