My Take
For my money, Madelaine Petsch will always be Cheryl Blossom first; that fiery red hair and razor-edged confidence made Riverdale impossible to look away from. What interests me is how completely she owned a role that demanded steel rather than sweetness, a harder thing to pull off than it looks. Coming out of small-town Port Orchard with American-South African roots, she has built a genuinely modern career spanning acting, modeling, and YouTube. I like performers who can play strong women without apology, and she does it with real command. I am curious to see which side of herself she shows us next.
