Mardy Fish

Mardy Fish leaves me with a real sense of admiration. An 188 cm hardcourt specialist from Edina, Minnesota, he won six ATP titles and reached four Masters finals across Cincinnati, Indian Wells, and Montreal, part of that early-2000s American wave. He never lifted a major, but climbing into the world's top ten took genuine grit. What stays with me, though, is his later openness about his mental health struggles, which gave his career a deeply human dimension. I respect athletes who fight honestly and then speak honestly, and Fish did both.
