My Take
So here's Mary Tachibana, who decided one career wasn't enough and went and did adult film AND music, which is either ambitious or just gloriously greedy, and honestly I respect it either way. What gets me is the long way round: top of her class at university, a year juggling work as a dental hygienist, then roughly eight years of going nowhere before a 2022 title finally turned things around. She has since announced her retirement from adult video and kept the music going. That kind of stubbornness? I'm into it.
