Master P

Master P is one of those figures where the music almost feels secondary to the blueprint he drew. Founding No Limit Records in 1991 out of New Orleans, he turned independent hip-hop into a genuine business empire, and I think that entrepreneurial instinct is his real legacy. Plenty of rappers chase deals; he built the machine and kept the masters. The fact that he later branched into motivational speaking and talent representation feels completely on-brand to me. Percy Miller clearly understood early that ownership beats fame, and that lesson echoes through a generation of artists who came after him.
