Matthew Tuck earns my respect as the voice that carried Welsh metal onto the world stage. From small-town Bridgend, he fronted Bullet for My Valentine while also handling rhythm guitar, and his blend of melody and raw aggression defined a whole era of metalcore for many listeners.
