Megan Jones

Megan Jones interests me as a versatile athlete bridging two demanding codes. Debuting for England against New Zealand in 2015 and playing both fifteens and sevens requires a rare blend of power, speed and decision-making, since the two games reward very different instincts. I admire that adaptability; it marks the kind of dependable, intelligent player who quietly holds a squad together. As women's rugby grows, I think contributors like Jones, from Cardiff, form the backbone that lets the sport keep rising.
