My Take

Melanie Merkosky strikes me as someone who happened to stand at a turning point. Born in Canada in 1980, she began as an actress and played Jennie in lonelygirl15, that early internet series which, looking back, helped invent a whole new way to tell stories online before streaming was ordinary.
