Miguel Ferrer

Miguel Ferrer had a presence you could not fake. From his icy executive in RoboCop onward, that gravelly voice and sardonic stare made him instantly recognizable, and I always felt his villains carried more humanity than the writing demanded. He was also more than an actor, working as an editor and cinematographer, and his voice work had a wonderful weariness to it. What I appreciate is the loneliness he let bleed through even his coldest characters.
