Monica Rial

Monica Rial is a craftswoman of the English-language anime world, and that work fascinates me more than most realize. Lending her voice across countless titles, including Dragon Ball and the wonderfully chaotic Panty & Stocking, she also writes the ADR scripts, which is the part I respect most. Reanimating a Japanese work in another language isn't mere imitation; it's a delicate act of honoring the source while breathing new life into it. Her University of Houston background in language surely underpins that ear. A voice actor who also does stage and audiobooks is a true vocal artisan, and I quietly applaud the depth of her dedication.
