Mukesh Tiwari

Mukesh Tiwari is exactly the sort of character actor who earns my respect. A National School of Drama graduate who broke in with China Gate, he has spent decades mastering the unglamorous art of the villain and the comic foil across Bollywood and several southern industries. Playing antagonists convincingly is far harder than people credit, since a film's stakes rise or fall on them. From Gangaajal to his beloved Vasooli in Golmaal, he keeps delivering. To me he represents the dependable, underappreciated backbone that holds Indian cinema together.
