Natasha Bassett

Natasha Bassett strikes me as someone still climbing toward her defining role. A Sydney-born Australian, she works not only as an actress but as a screenwriter, and that dual craft is what catches my attention. Performers who also write tend to bring sharper instincts about story and character to their roles. She is also working toward an astrophysics degree through Harvard's online program, which says a lot about her curiosity. I enjoy spotting talent before the breakout arrives, and an actor who can author her own narratives feels well positioned to make her own luck rather than wait for it.
