My Take
Born in 1998 in Soka, Saitama, and educated at Seijo University, Nene Shida was runner-up at Miss Teen Japan, spent a year as a weather presenter on Shizuoka television, and won the rookie prize at the 2019 Gravure Japan Awards, then widened into television and acting. No single defining role yet, and I do not read that as emptiness. Magazine covers and social posts are real work that simply refuses to sit in a tidy list. She is a good example of a modern career where the face travels faster than the credits, and I would rather wait than fake a verdict.
