Nicholas Lea

For me, Nicholas Lea will always be the man who made moral ambiguity look effortless. His Alex Krycek on The X-Files was the kind of slippery, magnetic antagonist a show secretly needs more than its heroes, and Lea played that uncertainty with real craft. I find it telling that a Canadian actor from quiet New Westminster carved his name through nuance rather than spectacle. Decades into his career he still works steadily without chasing the spotlight, and I genuinely respect that. He is the sort of dependable character actor whose presence quietly elevates whatever he appears in.
