My Take

Nisha Aggarwal interests me less for her filmography than for the shape of her exit. A Mumbai-born actress and model, she worked across Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil cinema, and she happens to be the younger sister of star Kajal Aggarwal, which can't be an easy shadow to share. What I find genuinely admirable is that she stepped away on her own terms and became a former actress. Staying in the spotlight takes nerve, but leaving it at the right moment takes just as much. Indian cinema's multilingual reach never stops impressing me either.
