Odessa Young

Odessa Young is the sort of young actor I like to bet on early. Trained at a performing arts high school in Sydney and winning an AACTA Best Actress award while still very young, she has the kind of foundation that tends to age well. There is something refreshingly unhurried about her trajectory, less about hype and more about letting the work speak. I appreciate performers who build credibility role by role rather than chasing visibility. With time and the right material, I suspect we are watching someone whose best chapters are still ahead, and I want to be there for them.
