My Take
Paulina Vega impresses me as more than a crown. Winning Miss Colombia in 2013 and Miss Universe in 2014, becoming only the second Colombian to take the global title, is a remarkable feat of poise and presence. But what I respect more is the substance behind the sash: she studied business administration and built a career as a presenter. Beauty queens who treat the title as a launchpad rather than a destination always earn my admiration. Vega reads as smart, grounded, and self-directed, and that combination of glamour and brains is what makes her genuinely compelling to me.
