My Take
Peggy Gou fascinates me as a genuine boundary-crosser. Born in Incheon, trained in fashion in London, based in Berlin, she carries a global sensibility that bleeds straight into her sound. What impresses me most isn't just the DJ sets but the founder instinct, launching her own Gudu Records and steering her own lane rather than chasing trends. There's a real visual and stylistic confidence to her work that feels rare. I tend to admire artists who treat genre and geography as suggestions rather than limits, and she does exactly that with an effortless, magnetic cool.
