Peter Gadiot

Peter Gadiot strikes me as a genuine border-crosser. A British actor raised in East Grinstead, West Sussex, he's moved fluidly between American prestige TV and global streaming, playing Valdez in Queen of the South and then taking on the daunting task of embodying Shanks in Netflix's One Piece. Stepping into that red-haired icon in live action takes nerve, and he carried it with calm authority. Add Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Yellowjackets, and Quantum Leap, and you see an actor unbothered by genre or geography. He's the type who keeps quietly landing meaningful roles. I'd bet on his staying power.
