My Take
Piper Curda is one of those Disney Channel kids who somehow managed to actually act. I first noticed her as Kennedy on A.N.T. Farm — she had this sharp comedic timing that most teen performers her age just don't have — and then she leveled up as Jasmine in I Didn't Do It, where the ensemble gave her room to shine and she absolutely took it. Born in Tallahassee in 1997 and clearly a natural Leo, she brought real personality to what could've been throwaway sitcom roles. The fact that she also sings and isn't just coasting on one talent makes her someone worth keeping an eye on as she moves into more adult work.
