Rahman

Born in Abu Dhabi, Rahman built his story in South Indian cinema, where he has appeared in roughly 200 films, chiefly in Malayalam alongside Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi work. I find that border-crossing career quietly impressive. Working under different screen names like Raghuman across industries, he embodies the porous, generous nature of Indian film. I admit I have not followed every title, but a body of work that large speaks of a craftsman who kept showing up, role after role, for decades. An Abu Dhabi-born face of Indian cinema is itself a story worth telling.
