My Take

What strikes me most about Rashmika Mandanna is how effortlessly she collapsed the old walls of Indian cinema. Coming from Virajpet in coffee-country Kodagu, she built a career that moves between the Telugu and Hindi industries as if borders simply do not apply to her. I admire the warmth she projects on screen — a girl-next-door openness that coexists with real dramatic steel. Being named to Forbes India's 30 Under 30 while still in her twenties tells you the industry sees what audiences already felt.
